Collins Laser provides laser hair removal treatments for the whole body. One of the most requested is the Brazilian laser hair removal treatment. Full Brazilian laser hair removal means the laser treatment eliminates all or nearly all pubic hair. Yes, this means that we aim to get rid of all of your hair down there. Therefore, it is a more permanent epilation treatment than shaving or waxing. The laser aims follicles, emits light energy, and prevents the development of hair follicles.

Who is it for?

Laser hair removal works for people of all skin types as we use Fotona Laser Technology, but people who have fair skin and dark hair have a tendency to find the best outcomes. Hairs grow at different speeds, so laser elimination takes several treatments to eliminate all the hair completely. The hair development cycle entails three phases, and the laser is only effective once the hair is at the active development stage. Multiple treatment sessions (spaced out with several weeks) to ensure that every hair is ruined when it is growing.

Why get a Brazilian Laser Treatment?

How painful is a Brazilian laser hair removal?

We have treated many patients from all different skin types and skin tolerances and most of them did not have much pain. However, some spots are more painful than others as most patients describe it as hot rubber bands snapping your skin in the more sensitive areas or otherwise it just feels like pulsing heat.

With us, however, you can rest assured that our laser specialist Dr. Maurice Haddad will make you feel very comfortable and after the few pulses, asks how it feels and if it’s okay to continue.

We try to make it the least painful experience for you.

Is laser hair removal safe for Brazilian?

Yes. The majority of people who use it find that laser hair removal is safe and well-tolerated. There do not appear to be any long-term health risks associated with the procedure.

Before each treatment, we go over any of your concerns and any side effects you might encounter. These include:

  • Redness
  • Pigmentation

What Happens After Treatment?

Redness generally lasts a couple of days and inflammation and sensitivity can exist in the area. We recommend a soothing cream such as Aloe Vera  which can be used 2-3 times a day to relieve the region.

After your treatment, we also recommend using SPF all around your body also needs to totally prevent sun exposure to the treated areas for fourteen days after your treatment.

In addition, avoid long hot showers, saunas, or some other kind of exercise for 24 hours to post.

It’s ideal to simply continue shaving but remember to wait 48 hours before having your first shave after the treatment.
