How painful is a Brazilian laser hair removal?
We have treated many patients from all different skin types and skin tolerances and most of them did not have much pain. However, some spots are more painful than others as most patients describe it as hot rubber bands snapping your skin in the more sensitive areas or otherwise it just feels like pulsing heat.
With us, however, you can rest assured that our laser specialist Dr. Maurice Haddad will make you feel very comfortable and after the few pulses, asks how it feels and if it’s okay to continue.
We try to make it the least painful experience for you.
Is laser hair removal safe for Brazilian?
Yes. The majority of people who use it find that laser hair removal is safe and well-tolerated. There do not appear to be any long-term health risks associated with the procedure.
Before each treatment, we go over any of your concerns and any side effects you might encounter. These include:
What Should I Do To Prepare Beforehand?
Before your first laser hair removal treatment, we ask each of our clients to shave the region 24 hours before treatment. Don’t wax, pluck, or bleach two-four months before treatment since this can affect the results of the treatment.
Avoid sun/fake tans:
Clients should also avoid fake tan and sun exposure fourteen days before treatment.
Try your best to avoid using exfoliating cream, threading, and any use of hair removal cream 2 weeks prior to your treatment to receive outstanding results.
We can also recommend showering the morning before the treatment. This is so that you are clean and accessible for your technician.
What Happens After Treatment?
Redness generally lasts a couple of days and inflammation and sensitivity can exist in the area. We recommend a soothing cream such as Aloe Vera which can be used 2-3 times a day to relieve the region.
After your treatment, we also recommend using SPF all around your body also needs to totally prevent sun exposure to the treated areas for fourteen days after your treatment.
In addition, avoid long hot showers, saunas, or some other kind of exercise for 24 hours to post.
It’s ideal to simply continue shaving but remember to wait 48 hours before having your first shave after the treatment.
